Dr. Jacob grew up in Lubbock, Texas and moved to Plano in 2002 after completing his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology. He began his practice in Plano but soon took on a part time practice in an outreach clinic in Mount Pleasant, Texas two days a week. He developed this practice and served this community for 5 years and was the only cardiologist for approximately 3 of those 5 years. To be closer to his family he decided to concentrate his cardiology practice in Plano on a full time basis. His area of expertise are interventional cardiology (coronary artery disease, angioplasty, stents, athrectomy and intracoronary ultrasound), in diagnostic cardiology (echocardiography, stress testing, and nuclear cardiology) and in preventive cardiology (cholesterol lowering therapy, cardiovascular risk factor modification, smoking cessation and cardiac rehabilitation)
